Contributing to EMPAC

EMPAC (Eastern Missouri Political Action Committee) is the political donation fund that NWPC-STL set up in order to support women candidates that share our organization’s ideals.

We are thankful to the many brave women who fought for our voting rights over 100 years ago. Unfortunately, women have been elected to public office at a slow pace over the last century. We are 50% of the population, and we deserve substantial representation.

In addition to hosting awareness-raising, educational Caucus activities, NWPC-STL recruits and trains well-qualified women to run for office. We support our candidates with the wealth of knowledge and experience we have in our organization. But it also takes money to run a campaign, which is where the Caucus’s PAC comes in. Managed directly by the NWPC-STL leadership, EMPAC disburses contributions made to it, sending money directly to the campaigns of NWPC-STL-endorsed local women candidates.

With your contribution, we can continue supporting progressive women candidates at the municipal and statewide levels of government, and continue fighting for equality. Every dollar donated goes toward assisting NWPC-STL-endorsed candidates with their campaigns!
